Frequently Asked Questions
Treatments & Skin
How should I prepare for my facial?
Arrive with a clean face if possible, so we can maximise your treatment time. We recommend avoiding strong actives like retinol or AHAs for 48 hours before your appointment to ensure your skin is calm and ready. Remove any jewellery beforehand and keep this in a safe place.
+
What should I expect after a dermaplaning facial?
Your skin will feel exceptionally smooth and appear more radiant as the fine peach fuzz and dead skin cells are removed. To protect your fresh glow, avoid direct sun exposure and apply SPF 30+ daily. In the following days, you can expect a little dryness as the skin cells turnover more quickly - this is perfectly normal. Remain hydrated, and consistent with skincare routines and you'll be glowing in the following days.
